EVENING STAR BOOTS FRISKY BOOTS RAZZLE DAZZLE BOOTSTRAPSCLASSES
Classes range from “Easy Fun" to Advanced and the whole family can join in from the 7 year old to the grandparents.
I have classes that have been going for 11 years now and many friendships have been formed. People who would never have met otherwise now have something in common with each other. Some have a fresh new lease of life - they dress in country style clothes, buy a pair of boots, next a belt then a fancy buckle, next the hat and they feel good within themselves. They join us in demonstrations at community activities, have fun and their lives become much brighter.
Line Dancing need not be expensive. You can start with cool comfortable clothing and a normal pair of shoes with flat heels (preferably with rubber on the heels). Many of our dancers shop at the opportunity shops and find treasures for $1 or $2 that you can’t buy at the retail stores.
If you are thinking if giving line dancing a try I would like to give you a few helpful tips. You don't need to buy expensive uniforms to dance.
Wear cool comfortable clothing. (long sleeves are too hot).

Classes often form teams to compete in linedancing competitions and demonstrations. Above left is the Coffs Harbour class team which danced in the freestyle section at the Easter Hoedown 2007 and on the right the Nambucca class team celebrating their success. Classes are still held on public holidays because many of the dancers are single and don’t have family close by. They really miss their weekly dose of dancing - some dancers attend 3, 4, or even 5 classes per week. Once a month we conduct a Line Dancing Social so all can practice their weekly learning's as well as revise other dances. - click Socials on the menu for details.
The best part of Line Dancing is the fact that you don't need a partner or anyone to go with, you just join the line.
