Janet, Gloria, Annette, Lyn - Xmas at the Melrose Centre

Holiday Coast Bootscooters have a small team (2 – 12 depending on how many are required) of volunteers who visit and perform at most of the local nursing and convelesant homes on a regular basis to dance up a storm of entertainment for residents and visitors.

Our demo team dance regularly, free of charge, at charitable events such as the Legacy Hostel Spring Fair, Pensioners’ Week events,  and at a fundraising event for the Westpac Helicopter Care flights as well as for the View Club, Probus Club and church groups.

We  participate in local community events such as the Welcome Santa Christmas Parade, Guyra Lamb and Potato Weekend, Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea (Urunga) and the annual Sawtell New Year Parade and Fair. We have danced to raise money for one of our local pre-schools and at a special 70^th birthday party for a local well known identity.
